This Privacy Policy explains how Lady Cycle processes data about you when you browse our website (www.ladycycle.com), use our mobile applications and/or otherwise provide your personal data to us (hereinafter collectively, the “Services”). By installing our mobile application or in other way using or accessing our Services, you accept the terms of use of this Privacy Policy and the processing of your personal data.

Information about personal data we collect

When you use our Services, you own all your personal data. Your data is not stored or synchronized automatically to a server or cloud service. By default, your data is solely stored locally on your phone. When you use our Services by manually sending your data to us via email or by requesting a PDF Report, among the personal data we may receive from you are: your email address and year of birth. Based on your choice of data to send to us, we may also receive personal data linked to your reproductive health including, but not limited to, body temperature, menstruation, ovulation and pregnancy test results. You can choose to remove some of your personal data when requesting a PDF report. UniDesign Solutions GmbH evaluates all this information for the sole purpose of providing the Services. Moreover, Lady Cycle may use a completely anonymized version of the data you send to us (as described in the terms of use and below) to improve its algorithm and to provide the Users with as accurate calculations as possible. For non-anonymized clinical and scientific studies, we will only obtain data with your explicit consent. That is, you will receive an in-app text message with detailed information on the study in line with the regulatory policies of the ethics committee responsible for the respective study. After reading this information, you can freely decide if you would like to support this scientific study by sharing parts of your data or not. If you agree you can manually send your data or parts of your data for the study’s purpose.

Our use of your personal data

Your privacy is important to us and we will only process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may use the personal data you submit to us for the purposes of providing, improving and to further developing the Services, analyzing usage of the Services, or providing customer support. Lady Cycle will not share your personal data with third parties without your explicit permission.

Security of the personal data we process

The security and integrity of your personal data is important to us. We do not synchronize your personal data automatically to our servers or cloud services. The security of the personal data on your phone is your sole responsibility. For personal data submitted to us to provide Services, we use generally accepted industry standards, technologies and procedures, such as firewalls, security software, encrypted transmission etc., in order to protect the integrity of your personal data and to prevent any unauthorized access. However, no system can be 100% secure and despite our efforts, there is always a risk of unauthorized access to your personal data. By using our Services, you assume this risk.

From time to time, it may become necessary to make changes to this Privacy Policy. Therefore, we reserve the right to update and/or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Lady Cycle uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics provides UniDesign Solutions GmbH with anonymous website activity reports. For this purpose Google Analytics uses cookies. Information on Google’s privacy policy can be found here. By using the Lady Cycle website you agree with the processing of your data through Google.

Use of anonymized information

When Users send their data to UniDesign Solutions GmbH to provide the Services, an anonymized version of these data can be stored. If data are stored, they are completely anonymized meaning information that could be used to recover the identity of the User (such as name, email address or the comment fields) are removed from the data before storing. Each User who uses Services that require sending their data to UniDesign Solutions GmbH grants UniDesign Solutions GmbH a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, sub-licensable, and transferable right to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, adapt, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, communicate to the public, and otherwise utilize this anonymized personal information of the User and information about a User’s use of the Services to: (a) improve the Services or the functionality of the Site; (b) for clinical studies and aggregated research, including, but not limited to, scientific research that may be undertaken by third parties who wish to study data collected by Lady Cycle.
